RSD 46th Annual Sports Recognition Night 05/30/13
A tradition of Wildcat interscholastic athletics, sportsmanship and pride were celebrated on the evening of Thursday, May 30, 2013, as the Rochester School for the Deaf community of students, staff, families and alumni gathered for the 46th annual RSD Sports Recognition Night.
Special guests included: Special speaker Ms. Vicki Liggera, an accomplished former high school and collegiate athlete; Ms. Thelma Hall, the mother of RSD alumnus Dawan Albrittion, who presented the Dawan Albritton Sportsmanship Award, with help from Dawan''s nephew Lavell Dawan; Mrs. Roderick McNeil and her daughter Roddy-Lynda Finley, who presented the first-ever Roderick McNeil Boys Basketball MVP Award, named after Mr. McNeil an RSD alumnus and former student-athlete; and, Ms. Pat Nugent, who presented the Nicholas Nugent Spirit Award, honoring Pat''s father, who was an RSD coach and athletic director.
